TCDD General Manager Karaman's Statement: “I am not a member of the Board of Directors of Türk Telekom, TTNET, TÜRKSAT and Net Screen Television and Media” “I only receive a fee for the Board of Auditors of Türk Telekom. Apart from this, I do not receive any fee for board membership from any public institution, including TCDD Board of Directors.
TCDD General Manager Süleyman Karaman, Türk Telekom, TTNET, TURKSAT and Net Screen Television and Media Board of Directors does not have a membership, only the ongoing fee for the membership of the Supervisory Board of Türk Telekom said.
In his written statement, Karaman stated that today, in a newspaper, a news that does not reflect the truth, "TCDD General Manager quadrupled his board membership". In the news, Karaman stated that he was alleged to be TTNet Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTNet, Member of the Board of Directors of Net Screen Television and Media, and Member of the Board of Directors of TÜRKSAT, in addition to being a Member of the Supervisory Board of Türk Telekom, and stated that he had been the aforementioned Board Membership for years.
Karaman, said:
“Besides, I am not a board member in Türk Telekom, TTNET, TÜRKSAT and Net Screen Television and Media Board of Directors. I am only charging the ongoing Türk Telekom Audit Board Membership fee. Apart from this, I do not receive any fee for board membership from any public institution, including TCDD Board of Directors. I am not a member of the board of directors of Türk Telekom, TTNET, TÜRKSAT and Net Screen Television and media. According to the General Communiqué of the Civil Servants Law No. 31 published in the Official Gazette dated 2012 January 28190 and numbered 162, it is not possible for public officials to receive more than one board membership fee.
