The statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on the subject is as follows:
“Due to heavy rain in the evening hours, the water accumulated in the pond near Sabiha Gökçen Airport caused flooding on the connection road between TEM Highway and E-5 Highway with landslide. As a result of the hard work of the teams, the road was cleaned from rubble and opened to traffic. ”
While the Pendik direction closed to transportation due to the flooding in Aydınlı, vehicles on the road were stuck in the mud dragged by the flood, and drivers had a hard time rescuing their vehicles from the mud. Traffic police directed the vehicles from Aydınlı Sapağı to Aydınlı.
