Polish journalists compete in Palandoken skiing

The group consisting of Polish state television, local media members and writers made a snowboard and ski race at Palandöken Ski Center on the last day of the trip. At the end of the highly contentious races, the winners were given various gifts.

The President of the Polish Press Club, Jaroslaw Wlodarczyk, said in a statement he made here that it is their third visit to Erzurum and they are planning to come again next year.

Stating that his thoughts about the city were very positive, Wlodarczyk said, “We went to Palandöken and Konaklı ski resorts and also visited there. We are planning to be here again next year. Local newspaper, state television employees, writers are here. It is a very broad activity. We left the competition for the last day because we will return to Poland tomorrow. "There is artificial snow on the tracks and we had a great time skiing."
We attach importance to the promotion of Erzurum

Eyüp Tavlaşoğlu, Deputy Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, emphasized that Palandöken is taking firm steps towards becoming one of the winter sports centers.

Stating that everyone agrees that Erzurum has advanced ski facilities, Tavlaşoğlu said, “We are taking firm steps towards introducing this to the world. We participated in the tourism fair in Poland as a metropolitan municipality. Our President Mehmet Sekmen invited the journalists who were there to make a better promotion of Erzurum. We have been hosting a group of 70 people in the city for a week. "We introduced Erzurum to our guests at the ski centers of Palandöken and Konaklı, curling and ice hockey halls."
