Meaningful Effectiveness from the Children's Houses Coordination Center: The 20 team, housed in the Children's Houses Coordination Center within the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies, participated in the march to commemorate 90 bin Mehmetçik, who fell as a martyr during the Sarıkamış Operation.
Children participating in the march led by M. Emin Alemdar, Sami Çift, İbrahim Kaplan and Musa Yılmaz, the children's houses co-ordination center, created colorful images on the 8 kilometer.
Tamer Ekinci, Provincial Deputy Director of Family and Social Policies stated that they care about such activities in order to give children national consciousness.
Ekinci stated that they have signed different activities for children, '' Our goal is to provide socialization of our children. We have made our children participate in this meaningful walk organized for our martyrs. This walk was very important in terms of development of our children's history consciousness, '' he said.
Mülayim Özden, a student at the Center for Coordination of Children's Houses, told about the feelings:
'' We came to the gathering place for the Sarikamis march, I was excited and I was very curious about how our soldiers, who were frozen in the cold, lived there. Finally, the moment I had come had come and the hike had begun. In total we would walk 8 kilometers. We saw cemeteries during the walk. The road did not run out, we didn't even take a tenth of what our soldiers had suffered, it was a difficult march, and in this meaningful walk, we remembered our martyrs. After the march, the 20 team hosted the Children's Coordination Center, had the opportunity to ski at the Sarıkamış Ski Center and have a picnic.
