The President of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce (KTO), Mahmut Noyilmaz, informed the press about the activities in 2014. In the meeting held in a hotel, Hicyilmaz explained the works done throughout the year with a slide and gave information about the future plans of the room. Stating that they have given importance to the participation of the members in the management since the day they took office, Hızyılmaz said that they have adopted a participatory and democratic management approach.
Stating that as the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, they held nearly 30 meetings for a more active and functional use of the covered bazaar, Hızyılmaz continued his words as follows: “We conducted 3 different surveys. We determined the measures to be taken by including local governments in these meetings. We have expressed at every opportunity the establishment of a logistics village and high-speed train works in Kayseri.
Kayseri Mersin High Speed Train
We believed that a large part of Kayseri's exports were made from Mersin port and that the high-speed train to be built between Kayseri and Mersin would contribute significantly to the export of the city. We will build a service building on the land belonging to KTO next to the Kayseri Chamber of Industry as soon as possible. Our current building is insufficient. We designed a multi-purpose building with the competition held, and we will start to serve here by constructing the building in the near future.”
