The Search and Rescue Team of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted a drill as part of the preparatory work against possible injuries, stuck and disappearance at Ilgaz Ski Facilities. In the exercise, which was followed by the Governor Şehmus Günaydın and Brigadier General Faruk Bal, the Commander of the Kastamonu Gendarmerie, two vacationers were stranded on the chairlift as a result of the interruption of the electric current. Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Team, stationed in Ilgaz, started an operation to rescue two vacationers on the chairlift. Climbing the chairlift with rope, the team took the holidaymakers down one by one with the help of rope. Vacationers, who were cold from the cold, were then taken to the ambulance on a sled stretcher. The search and rescue team was applauded at the end of the exercise, which was also followed by vacationers.
