Galatasaray Fans Delayed Yht for 1 Hour: After visiting Anıtkabir in Ankara, about 60 Galatasaray fans who were going to Istanbul by High Speed Train (YHT), who reported that they were running out on the train, asked the police for help.
After visiting Anıtkabir in Ankara, the railway officials stated that about 60 Galatasaray supporters on the High Speed Train (YHT) were going to Istanbul on the train, and asked the police for help. The mechanics of the YHT and the passengers who came to Eskişehir Station gave up their complaints. YHT moved to Istanbul after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes.
A group of Galatasaray supporters who visited Anıtkabir and laid a wreath on their way back from Ankara to Istanbul with YHT, allegedly flooded the train under the influence of alcohol. Some passengers and YHT machinists called the police and reported that the fans were outraged. Upon the notice, the police, including riot police, were sent to Eskişehir Train Station. The police wanted to detain some of the supporters of alcohol in YHT, who arrived at 21.05. A lawyer who was among the fans argued with the police. After the discussion between the fans and the police, the train passengers and the drivers informed the police that they would not complain about the fans. When the police could not find a complaint, they did not detain any of the supporters. YHT, which was waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes due to the dispute in Eskişehir Train Station, departed to Istanbul at 22.15.
