Bilal Uçar, AK Party Denizli Deputy, said in a written statement: “The Denizli - Istanbul train, which has been suspended for almost 10 years due to renovation works, will start operating in January 2015. With an investment of approximately 200 million TL, the 192 km railway between Denizli and Sandıklı was renewed with all its infrastructure and superstructure.
With these studies, trains, which were able to travel with an average speed of 40 - 45 KmH, now have the infrastructure that can travel at a speed of 160 KmH. However, it is planned to travel at an average speed of 90 - 120 KmH, both because of the grounds and the stations.
The train departing from Denizli will reach Eskişehir in 6,5 hours. By transferring from Eskişehir to the High Speed ​​Train, it will be possible to reach both Istanbul and Ankara in a shorter time by rail.
"Transportation Planning" studies are continuing now, and in the first stage, it is planned to depart from Denizli at 12 am and reach Eskişehir at 7 am, and to move from Eskişehir to Denizli at 22:00. .
