Parliamentary question for Bozdağ Ski Resort from Türeli

Question proposal for Bozdağ Ski Center from Türeli: CHP deputy, Türeli Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, Mr. Veysel Eroğlu and Youth and Sports Minister Akif Çağatay Kılıç asked the TBMM Presidency about the Bozdağ Ski Center.

He reminded that the immovable properties owned by Türeli Special Provincial Administrations were transferred to various institutions and organizations through the commissions established in the provinces. He said that he was transferred to the General Directorate of Forestry of the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. Türeli said, “Bozdağ Ski Center, however, was left completely unclaimed after being handed over to the General Directorate of Forestry and left to its fate. As a matter of fact, Bozdag Ski Center, once the most popular winter tourism center of the Aegean Region, is decaying in an idle state with the 'No Entry' sign hanging on the entrance door. ”

Emphasizing that the citizens demand that this facility, which is known as the 'Uludağı of the Aegean, be returned to its old days and brought back to tourism, Türeli said, “In this context, it would be much more appropriate to transfer the ski facility to İzmir Metropolitan Municipality”.

Türeli made the following questions in his motion,

“- For what reasons was Bozdağ Ski Center not transferred to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality? What are the reasons for the transfer of the ski center to the General Directorate of Forestry? Why is the ski resort still in operation? Has a plan been prepared for the ski center to be put back into service? If there is such a plan, what is the implementation schedule? Are there other facilities of this type transferred to your Ministry? If so, how many of them are out of operation? ”
