Ukraine decided to stop the railway transportation to the Crimea: It is reported that Ukraine declared its unilateral independence and decided to stop the railway transportation to Crimea, which was connected to Russia.

In the statement made by the Ukrainian State Railways, it was stated that train services from Ukraine will not go to Crimea as of tomorrow, and the said trains will move to Kherson on the Crimean border.

In the statement, "In order to ensure security, train services that will move in the direction of Crimea will be made up to Novoalekseevka and Herson."

It was noted that international train services to Crimea via Ukraine were also canceled within this framework. In the statement, it was also reported that as of today, freight transport by rail between Ukraine and Crimea is prohibited.
