Bartın-Amasra Tunnel Opening Ceremony

Bartın-Amasra Tunnel was opened with a ceremony: Bartın-Amasra Tunnel was opened with the participation of President Erdoğan and Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Lütfi Elvan.
He passed by using the office car that Erdogan used during his prime ministry.
The construction of the tunnel, which is expected to make a significant relief between Bartın and Amasra, was started 2,5 years ago.
Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Lütfi Elvan said, "We have declared mobilization to cross the mountains called impenetrable and the valleys called" impassable ". At the opening ceremony of Bartın-Amasra Tunnel, Elvan said that they are determined to connect Bartın to neighboring provinces, the capital city and the world through divided roads.
Elvan stated that the city knows the need for the ring road and gave the necessary instructions in this regard, he said:
“Our intention of building roads, tunnels, bridges and viaducts is to make the hearts of our nation and open its hearts. We have completed 9,5 times more than the divided road built throughout the history of the Republic in the last 11 years. Amasra is Bartın's tourism gate. Ships could not dock at the cruise port, we built both a docking and floating docks. Turkey, as the country's sea mountain country. There are mountains in the north, south, east and west of our country. We declared mobilization to cross the mountains called 'impenetrable' and the valleys that were called 'impenetrable'. We created a continuous corridor from north to south, east to west. While 50 tunnels of only 83 kilometers were built throughout the history of the Republic, we increased it to 204 with 277 kilometers. Next year, we are opening 9 more tunnels, including Ovit, the second longest double-tube tunnel in the world.
President Erdoğan passed the Sarıyer-Çayırbayı Tunnel, which was inaugurated on September 8, 2012, with the office car he used.
In our government, we built a thousand 123 bridges and viaducts with a length of 726 kilometers. This is service, civilization, development. "
Bartın Governor Seyfettin Azizoğlu, AK Party Bartın Deputy Yılmaz Tunç and Elvan, who cut the opening ribbon of the tunnel with the people in the protocol, visited Amasra Mayor Emin Timur.
