Opened the Tunnels

Minister opened the tunnels: Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, opened a thousand 100-meter Bartın-Amasra and 980-meter Çakraz-Avara tunnels in Amasra district of Bartın.
The ceremony was held at the exit of the Amasra Tunnel, Bartin Governor Seyfettin Azizoglu, AK Party Bartin Deputy Yilmaz Tunch and protocol members attended. A speech was made and a speech was made after reading the National Anthem.
Bartın MP Yılmaz Yılmaz stated that i There is a historical day for Bartın. With the opening of the Amasra Tunnel, the transportation between Bartin and Amasra will take place 30 minutes in a safe and short distance. 5 meters of Amasra Tunnel built between Amasra-Bartın, which was started to be constructed in May of 2012, and one of the 100 tunnels on the road of Bartın-Kurucaşile. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Elvan said, “We have declared mobilization to go beyond the mountains that are called impenetrable and pass the valleys that are called impassable. We are determined to connect Bartın to neighboring provinces, Ankara and the world in divided ways. Our wish to build roads, tunnels, bridges and viaducts is to make our nation's heart open. Our Amasra is the tourism gate of Bartın. Ships could not dock at the passenger port, we built both a dock and a floating dock. Turkey, sea and mountain country in which the country is up. While only 50 kilometers of 83 tunnels were built throughout the history of the Republic, we increased it to 204 with 277 kilometers. Next year, we are opening 9 more tunnels including Ovit, the second longest double tube tunnel in the world ”.
After the speeches, Minister Elvan and the protocol members cut the opening ribbon of Amasra and Kurucaşile tunnels. The Minister then passed behind Amasra Tunnel, behind the wheel of Bartin Governor Seyfettin Azizoglu's office vehicle.
