Expressing that they want to realize the construction of this line with build-operate-transfer model, Elvan said:
“We give this feasibility study and detailed information to companies interested in Ankara-Istanbul YHT line. 5-6 companies stated that they are interested. In this line, YHTs will speed up to 350 kilometers per hour and our citizens will reach Istanbul from Ankara in 1 hour 15 minutes, maximum 1,5 hours. If our companies show interest, we want to bid in 2015. ”
“Ticket prices dropped with the promotion application”
Stating that approximately 30 percent of the airline costs are due to fuel, and the decrease in oil prices caused the airline ticket prices to decrease, Elvan said that within this framework, airline companies put forward many promotion programs and sold tickets for 39-59 lira.
