Development plans of Antalya Western Ring Road were accepted

The development plans of the Antalya Western Ring Road were accepted: Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Council accepted the 5 and 25 thousand scale master plans of the Western Ring Road. According to the accepted plans, 800 hectares of land on both sides of the 160-meter section of the road between Karaman Stream and Çandır Stream, which have not been completed due to private properties, are being opened. However, the plans do not include the railway planned to pass through the region.
November meeting of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality was held in the conference hall of Antalya Water and Waste Water Administration (ASAT). After the poll, the parliament witnessed the discussions between the opposition and the AK Party, without being able to move on to the agenda items. The discussions that continued with mutual speech took 1 hour and 40 minutes. The discussion of the remaining items of the agenda, other than polling, was completed in 1 hour 30 minutes. Many agenda items were read and voted collectively as they were transferred from the related commissions.
Among the articles accepted by the assembly, the 5 thousand and 25 thousand scaled master plans of the Western Ring Road were also included. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Menderes Türel, who presided over the 12th and 13th items of the agenda, left the hall, leaving his place to his deputy Ahmet Büyükakça. Mayor of Konyaaltı who took the floor Muhittin Böcek, “I couldn't understand why Menderes Türel went out on such an important issue. Is there some hesitation, a problem that we are not aware of?” asked.
Despite the group decision, some CHP members did not participate in the voting of the articles. With the question of MHP's İrfan Yılmaz, it was revealed that the plans did not include the railway planned to be built in the region. The plans, which opened 1,8 hectares of land on both sides of the 160 kilometer long road, were adopted by the majority of the members of the ruling and opposition party, although MHP's İrfan Yılmaz was abstaining.
