Historical building of TCDD collapsed in Uşak

The historical building of TCDD collapsed in Uşak: During the renovation work in the historical building belonging to TCDD, the worker Nihat Şahin, who was buried under the rubble as a result of the collapse of the roof and a wall of the building, died at the scene.

During the renovation work on the roof and a wall collapsed Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) is owned historic buildings, debris removal work while completely collapsed.

In the building in the garden of Uşak Station in Mehmet Akif Ersoy District where a worker lost his life due to the collapse of its roof and a wall during the renovation works, work is underway to retrieve the dead worker's body.

Two work machines used scoops to support the wall that was not demolished. In the meantime, when another construction machine interfered with the roof, the building collapsed completely. There were no casualties or injuries.

AFAD and Uşak Municipality teams continue their work to reach the body.

The roof and a wall of the historical building belonging to TCDD collapsed during the renovation works, and Nihat Şahin (43), one of the workers who was learned to lay insulation material on the building during the incident, died under the collapsed wall.
