Sirkeci Station's historical appearance appeared

The historical image of Sirkeci Station has emerged: The main body of the Sirkeci Pedestrian Overpass, located in front of the City Lines Ferries in Fatih-Sirkeci, was lifted last night at 7 hours.

The dismantling of the Sirkeci Pedestrian Overpass, located at the junction of Kennedy Avenue-Ankara Avenue and Reşadiye Avenue, was completed in the morning with a team of 70 people. The dismantling of the feet will be completed in three days without disrupting the traffic.

Approximately 221 tons of passage was dismantled in three parts at midnight and dismantled. 70 was transported to the morning with the work of the technical personnel. Traffic flow was provided in alternative ways during the studies.

Lifting the gas station in front of the historical Sirkeci Station, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has made the area a park and offered it to the public. 605 blue spruce, 7 pyramidal badger, 9 silvery lime, 3 red leaf maple, 6 redwood maple tree, 8 tree and 33 rose were planted for the study where the historical image of Sirkeci Station appeared.

Now, with the lifting of the overpass, an important step was taken to reduce the visual density of Sirkeci and provide relief. With the passage removed, pedestrian access will be provided directly by traffic lights.
