Izmit Bay Crossing Suspension Bridge rises to 188 meters

Yalova's Altınova district, Tavsanli town Mayor Kadri Cicek and the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Yalova Branch managers, made inspections in some parts of the project and received information from the authorities.
According to the information given by the authorities, 5 personnel and 454 construction machines work in the construction of the project. The 277-kilometer (Gebze-Orhangazi-Bursa) section of the Istanbul-Bursa-İzmir Highway Project, which is planned to be opened as priority, works in 77 main construction centers.
Izmit Bay Crossing Suspension Bridge, constructed within the scope of the project, will be in the 252th rank among the largest middle span suspension bridges in the world, with a tower height of 550 meters, a central span of 2 meters and a length of 682 meters.
At the stage of construction, the 40 meter is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
