We will make highway in Istanbul

We will build a highway from Istanbul to Balıkesire: Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Lütfi Elvan announced that they are doing very important projects to relieve traffic in Istanbul. Minister Elvan said, “We will build a highway that will go from İstanbul Odayeri to Balıkesir” and answered the questions of AKŞAM Newspaper.

Speaking about the North Marmara Highway Crossing project, Elvan said: “As of the end of 2015, we will complete the 95 km section including Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. We also bid for the Sakarya Akyazı- Sabiha Gökçen- Kurtköy line and the section from Odayeri to Tekirdağ Kınalı. ”
MARMARA RING WILL BE
Minister Elvan said in his speeches: “Projects that will significantly ease the traffic of Istanbul. We pass a new highway east of the highway parallel to the existing highway. This road will extend to Tekirdağ Kınalı. Later this road will go to Balıkesir with the Çanakkale Bridge to be built. It will be connected to Istanbul-Izmir Motorway from Balıkesir. In other words, we will have turned the Marmara Region into a ring by highway. ”
