The electric locomotive Vectron has been approved for compliance with the railways of our country: The new generation electric locomotive Vectron, manufactured by Siemens and used extensively in European railways, has been approved for the railways of our country.
The vehicle, approved by the draw frame and capable of operating at 200 km / h, was subjected to tests and applications for approximately one year. Eskişehir Warehouse Manager Mustafa Özgür Örekçi and many TCDD officials participated in the test studies and successful results were obtained from the vehicle tested. The applications results in E87000 locomotives, traffic control systems requirements, and Turkey showed full compliance with standards due to its high traction power.
In addition, trainings of new locomotive technology were provided to Eskişehir Warehouse Directorate mechanics and maintenance personnel during the vehicle tests with the partnership of Eskişehir Warehouse Directorate and Siemens.
