Explosion in Cairo Metro: It was reported that the number of injured increased to 16 in the explosion at the metro station east of Egypt's capital, Cairo.

In a written statement made by the Ministry of Health, it was stated that 16 people were injured in the explosion that occurred on the subway between Hılmiyyet ez-Zeytun and Hadaik ez-Zeytun stations in the east of the capital, and there were no casualties in the incident.

Egypt Metro Company and security sources said that the explosion of the explosive device placed in the passenger baggage section of the metro, which is located in the east of the capital, caused 4 to be wounded.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. 12 people were injured in the explosion at the subway station in Cairo last month.
