Plainclothes police saw a suitcase next to the Emniyet Metro Stop, which is close to the Istanbul Police Department. After the plainclothes police reported the situation, bomb experts came to the scene. The side road on Vatan Street, where the luggage is located, was closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic with the security line. Bomb expert teams detonated the suitcase with fuze in a controlled manner. Men's clothes came out of the exploded suitcase. The police then opened the road to traffic.
