Uninterrupted Travel in Rail System with Aksaray Yenikapı Metro Line

Aksaray-Yenikapı metro line connecting Istanbul metro and Marmaray was put into service with a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. With the line connecting the rail transportation on the European and Asian sides, the Atatürk Airport-Kartal metro is reduced to 81 minutes.

After the Haliç Metro Crossing Bridge and Yenikapı metro station were put into service with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was the Prime Minister of the time, on February 15, 2014, another link is added to Istanbul's rail system today. Aksaray-Yenikapı metro line, which connects the airport, Marmaray and Hacıosman metro, is put into service with a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

A passenger arriving from Atatürk Airport with the Aksaray- Yenikapı connection, with Marmaray from Yenikapı Kadıköy - Kartal metro will be able to reach in 81 minutes. Passengers can easily reach Taksim, Levent, Mecidiyeköy, Maslak and Hacıosman by metro from Yenikapı with the Aksaray-Yenikapı metro line, which combines rail transportation on the Anatolian and European sides. The 700 meters long Aksaray-Yenikapı line connects Atatürk Airport, Bağcılar, Başakşehir and Olimpiyat Stadium to Yenikapı, and at the same time becomes the passenger transfer point for Aksaray, Bus Terminal, airport, Marmaray and IDO.

With Aksaray Yenikapı metro line, Istanbulites will take 81 minutes from Kartal to Atatürk Airport, 36 minutes from Yenikapı to Atatürk Airport, 39 minutes from Yenikapı to the Olympic Stadium, 43 minutes from Taksim to Atatürk Airport, Mahmutbey from Üsküdar to 5 minutes, from Başakşehir to Taksim 44 minutes, from Bağcılar to Mecidiyeköy to 5 minutes, from Üsküdar to Atatürk Airport in 55 minutes, from Bağcılar Kadıköywill reach 45, 5 minutes.
