In our articles, we demanded to connect the High Speed ​​Train to Lapseki and Çanakkale Center after Bandırma by referring to the growing industrial clusters in our region, preparations for the 2015 year and recent investment requests to our region. Again, in our articles, we stated that 'we can also hold discussions about this investment in delegation'. The General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments, the General Directorate of State Railways and the General Directorate of Spatial Planning of the Ministry of Environment responded to these requests and informed that our requests were taken into account and forwarded to the relevant ministries and institutions. In particular, the General Directorate of State Railways gave a detailed answer to the Exchange and gave information about the institutions that need to be followed and the path that should be followed to make this investment. In the last week, our Minister Mr. Lütfi Elvan stated that High Speed ​​Train will be connected to Çanakkale Bridge. In my previous remarks, I have stated that it is essential to address the transportation infrastructure of Çanakkale as a whole. I have said that the linkages of Çanakkale to both metropolitan and international destinations should be considered in a comprehensive manner. Infrastructure investments to our province will accelerate the economy, tourism and promotion of our region. Our transportation infrastructure is of great importance nowadays as we approach 2015. Congestion in transportation is reflected negatively on tourism and economy of our city. Now we have another important request from the Ministry of Transportation on this subject, which is very close to the economy of our province. Double roads connecting our city to metropolitan cities like Bursa, Izmir and Istanbul should be completed in the shortest time. In those days where 2015 is less than two months away, it is a great need for our city to hold high-level meetings and to address these investments in the world's pupil city as soon as possible.
