100 new crane with lifting capacity 3 The new crane of the Mobile Horbour Crane type 3, taken to the port of Izmir Alsancak by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, reached the port.
The newly acquired cranes were removed from the cargo ship by Turan Yalçın, Port Operations Manager, Serdal Ensari, Port Operations Manager Assistant and technical manager Abdulkadir Gökduman.
Cranes with total 100-ton lift and 22 container handling capacity per hour will also be used for multi-purpose project loads.
It is aimed to increase the handling capacity by 60 with the cranes that will perform land-to-ship and ship-to-land containers.
