UTIKAD Met with Transport Minister Elvan: Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, thanked UTIKAD, the International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association, which brought together more than 85 logistics professionals from 1.000 countries at FIATA Istanbul 2014 World Congress.

Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, received information on the congress and thanked UTİKAD, the host of the meeting of the growing Turkish logistics sector with the world, for the successful work of the FIATA Istanbul 2014 Congress.
Emphasizing that they attach importance to sustainable policies as a Ministry, Elvan said that the FIATA World Congress with the theme of “Sustainable Growth in Logistics” made significant contributions to the world of logistics at this point. Congratulating Erkeskin for the Sustainable Logistics Document, which was implemented with the support of UTIKAD and will encourage the sector at the point of sustainable growth, Elvan said that all these studies are important steps for the development of the sector.
Lütfi Elvan pointed out that UTIKAD represents a very important size in the logistics sector with its 400 members operating in all modes of transportation and stated that as a ministry, UTIKAD will continue to work and support the development of the sector.
Turgut Erkeskin, on the other hand, stated that they are proud to host a successful world congress where Turkey's logistics potential was revealed and presented to the participants; Bringing together more than 85 senior logistics executives from 1.000 countries in Istanbul, kazanHe stated that they contributed to the emergence of the three.
