Stating that there are 22 tunnels on the Mersin-Antalya highway route, 3 of them have been completed, Minister Elvan said that they will complete 4 tunnels next year. Strolling through a tunnel under construction, Minister Elvan said, “This tunnel is approximately 850 meters in length, and we have many tunnels one after the other. The old roads, as you can see, are about 6 meters wide, two cars difficult to pass, quite difficult and geographically bad. We will get rid of those ways now. I hope our citizens will have the opportunity to travel from Mersin to Antalya in a much more comfortable way, ”he said. We have a route to the Antalya border of approximately 487 kilometers. We will open the 11-kilometer section of this as a divided road next week.
