Evolution of trains

Evolution of trains: Today, high-speed trains serving in some parts of the world do less damage to the environment than steam and diesel trains.

Railways, 200 has been part of civilization for over a year. Starting with steam trains in the UK of 1800, this journey continues today with modern high-speed trains.

Today's high-speed trains, steam locomotives and diesel-powered trains, separating features, not only speed and high passenger carrying capacity. Modern trains, old trains, are less damaging to nature.

Technological advances made the trains faster and more easily accessible. However, according to some people, in parallel with the technological development, the damage caused by the trains to the environment decreased significantly.

It is known that steam and diesel trains cause air pollution and deterioration of human health. According to a study, only 20 thousand asthma attacks and 680 heart attacks occur annually due to diesel trains in the state of Illinois, USA.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency has spent 2,7 million dollars (6 million TL) in New York and New Jersey in order to reduce the environmental damage of this type of trains last year.

Of course, every vehicle produced by human beings harms the environment. The experts, who are trying to minimize this loss, continue to work for this purpose for years.
