After the cancellation of the dock tender, which was opened to allow Ro-Ro ships to dock at İzmir Alsancak Port, due to the lack of compliance with the administrative specifications, the tender was re-tendered with a new specification.
The tender to be held with the new specification will be held tomorrow (on September 30) at TCDD Izmir Alsancak Port Management Directorate. Ro-Ro ships are also planned to dock at the Izmir Port with the tender.
In this context, the managers of Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Shipping Izmir Branch, TCDD Izmir Alsancak Port Directorate, Transport 3. Regional Directorate, Aegean Customs and Trade Directorate held a meeting last month and reached a consensus on the arrival of Ro-Ro and ro-pax ships to the port. . With Ro-Ro ships, passengers, trucks and cars will be transported together.
