A protocol has been signed between TCDD and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality regarding the extension of Izmir Suburban Management, which continues between Aliağa and Cumaovası, which is a joint venture between TCDD and İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, from Friday to Tepeköy.
Signaling and electrification works of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality along with the ongoing construction of the station were completed at the completion of the construction.
