Public transport weakens

Public transport is weakening: it is stated that the average 3 and the 2.5 weight of the women are weaker compared to those driving by public transport vehicles such as buses, trams and subways.

Der Spiegel magazine featured the results of the study conducted by Ellen Flint of London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine on 7 British people. In the study, which pointed out that those who leave their homes and get into their cars and park in front of the workplace move very little, it was stated that actions such as going to and from the stops on public transportation vehicles and walking from the stops to the workplace caused a lot of movement.

MISSING MOVEMENT

According to a study by the German Federal Statistics Office, in 2012, 14 percent of employees in Germany used public transport, 66 percent of them went to work by their own vehicle, and only 18 percent go to work by bicycle or on foot. Experts drew attention to the fact that using public transportation instead of your own vehicle is an effective method in combating excess weight. In addition, going to work by public transport has positive effects on diseases such as diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure.

According to a study conducted by Harvard University experts in 2012, more than 5 million people die each year due to inactivity. Inactivity takes the 4th place in the list of causes seen in early deaths.
