FIATA World Congress will bring the logistics world together in Istanbul: The "Journey of Bill of Lading" exhibition to be held within the scope of the congress will feature bill of lading from different countries and in various languages ​​from the 18th century to the present day.
The 2014 World Congress of the International Federation of Transport Organizers Associations (FIATA), to be held in Istanbul, is preparing to bring the logistics world together with all its stakeholders.
According to the statement made by the International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association (UTIKAD), the countdown continues for the “FIATA World Congress 13 Istanbul”, which will be hosted by UTIKAD between 18-2014 October.
Within the scope of the congress, which will also sign an exhibition event for the first time, the bill of lading (a receipt given in return for a product delivered to the ship) and stories will be exhibited, which MSC Ship Agency Documentation Services Manager Ahmet Aytoğan has collected for 20 years.
The "Journey of Bill of Lading" exhibition will feature bills of lading from the 18th century in various languages ​​and from different countries. The exhibition, in which a significant portion of 1763 bill of lading, the oldest of which belongs to 450, will meet with the participants in Aytoğan's collection, will also reveal the development of maritime and maritime freight transportation.
UTIKAD Chairman Turgut Erkeskin, the assessment on the subject, the congress brings together all the stakeholders of the sector in the world, along 5 days and discussing rapidly the future projections growing logistics in Turkey, said the first time they also signed an exhibition event.
Stating that they are pleased to be a vehicle for the meeting of the bill of lading collected with a special effort to the world in an international congress, Erkeskin said, “Those who come to our congress and watch this collection will make a very rich and historical journey in our logistics world on the 'throne of bill of lading'”.
Ahmet Aytoğan stated that most people are not aware of how valuable a bill of lading is, “Bill of lading is actually a valuable debt bill. It is also very valuable paperwork representing property and ownership of property. With these exhibitions we organize, we try to explain the importance of bill of lading and raise awareness. Our exhibition will also have the opportunity to go beyond the borders of our country at the congress hosted by UTIKAD. "We will have the opportunity to explain our efforts and the importance of bill of lading to the high-level representatives and decision makers of the logistics sector."
