Doha Metro Signed the Design Contract for the Golden Line: The Doha Metro is one of the most basic infrastructure projects in Qatar with a budget of € 20 and is scheduled to be completed by 2019. Four lines will be built gradually.
Doha Metro's Gold Line is one of the main lines of the project and will be built by an international Consortium. In the contract signed for £ 2,5 billion, the Consortium consists of Yunak Contractor Actor, Turkish Contractors Yapı Merkezi and STFA, and Indian Contractors Larsen & Toubro and Al Jaber Engineering. The project is planned to be completed in 54 months.
The Contractor signed the Design Agreement of the Golden Line of the Doha Metro with the UK-based engineering firm WS Atkins. The contract price 80 £ million.
