The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), Eskisehir Deputy Station Manager Ali Yildiz, Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train (YHT) line said that 146 thousand 241 people travel. Yıldız said in a statement attended by a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 23 July, and said that the interest in Ankara-Istanbul YHT flights is high, and it is difficult to find a place because the occupancy rate is 100 percent.

Stating that citizens prefer and travel with YHT, Yıldız said: 'Between August 1-24, 17 thousand 696 people from Eskişehir to Istanbul, 56 thousand 568 from Ankara to Istanbul, and from Eskişehir to Istanbul. 14 thousand 933 traveled from Istanbul to 57 thousand 44 from Ankara to Ankara. 69 thousand 613 people from Eskişehir to Ankara and 64 thousand 978 people from Ankara were provided. The only wish of our citizens is to increase the number of flights. The number of trips on the Istanbul line is not enough. We cannot meet Eskişehir's demand. Our citizens express their satisfaction to us. On the other hand, they demand that the number of flights be increased. '
Number of 4-5 times may increase
Stating that the number of passengers has doubled due to YHT, Yıldız stated that 25 thousand people use Eskişehir Train Station daily with the passengers and those who come to see them off. Yıldız added that the last station on the Istanbul-Ankara YHT line is Pendik and that the number of passengers is expected to increase 4-5 times after the line opens to Istanbul.
