Women's hand in Antalya transportation: Metropolitan Mayor Menderes Türel, A Team started the revision of the jump to transportation. Hülya Atalay was appointed as Rail System Coordinator in the same flat instead of Vecihi Öz, Head of Transportation Planning and Rail System Department.

Metropolitan Mayor Menderes Türel, after completing the first 3 months, continues the revision in the team he first appointed in place of the positions he took over from former president Mustafa Akaydın. The change, which started from Culture and Social Affairs, continued with the Transportation Planning and Rail System Department. Türel has appointed Rail System Coordinator Hülya Atalay instead of Head of Department Vecihi Öz.

At the beginning of the great transformation

A graduate of METU Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning, Atalay worked as the rail system coordinator of President Türel during the first presidency period between 2004 and 2009 and the following Akaydın period. Hülya Atalay will be the head of the great transformation expected from public transportation to traffic infrastructure in Antalya.

LIGHT RAIL SYSTEM PROJECT

As part of the international botanical fair EXPO 2016, which will be held in Antalya in 2016, waiting at the table of Atalay, the project regarding the extension of the light rail system from Meydan to the airport and EXPO area in Aksu constitutes the heaviest file of the transformation process. The project was presented to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Antalya on Saturday as a file.

3 NEW DEPARTMENT OF DEPARTMENT

Atalay is also expected to make changes in the administrative structure of the department he is responsible for. In this change, Transportation Planning and Rail System Department in Antalya will be structured as 3 new departments. With the extension of the light rail system line, it is expected that the Metropolitan Municipality Rail System Department, the Directorate of Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination for the improvement of the traffic infrastructure, and the Transport Department, where the main focus will be public transportation, will be established during this transformation period.
