Istanbul-Ankara Yht Studies Continue at Full Speed: It was reported that 10 out of 9 stations were ready, days before the opening of the High Speed Train (YHT) between Istanbul and Ankara, and that Bilecik station was tried to be ready for the opening.
Work continues at Bilecik station, which is one of the 10 stations on the Istanbul-Ankara YHT line. The opening of the Istanbul-Ankara YHT line was postponed twice due to previous sabotage, and it was finally announced that it will be put into service on 25 July. Bilecik station is also being prepared to open. In statements on the subject, the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Deputy Regional Director Nihat Aslan, said it would stop the high-speed train station in Bilecik. Aslan said, “We will try to train Bilecik station to the opening. We examine the continuous studies on site. We are constantly squeezing the contractor firm, our goal is to finish the Bilecik station on the 25th of the month. We do whatever we can do. I don't know what will happen if the station is not reached until the 25th of the month. I am not regulating this traffic, it is the General Directorate. There are 533 stations on the 10-kilometer line between Istanbul and Ankara. There is no problem in 9 of these, the only distressing stop is Bilecik stop. “This was due to the project change and it took so long”.
