German company Uganda ih Rwanda wins railway line tender

The German company Uganda yap Rwanda has won the tender for the railway line design: Uganda and Rwanda are planning to build a new railway line of 1400 miles. The section between Kampala in Uganda and Kigali in Rwanda is part of a project that connects the countries of Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. The construction of the main project in Kenya is projected to be completed by 2018.

Gauff Ingenieure, a German infrastructure consultant, won the contract for the design of this railway line, which now has a new standard rail range. Contract price 8,6 million US dollars.
