Electronic ticket era in urban transportation in Uzbekistan: Efforts started to use electronic tickets in urban transportation in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan.
Tashkent City Transport Services, an official of the state-owned company said Ozodlik radio in September or at the latest in October will start the application of electronic tickets in transportation vehicles, he said.
The company official in the first step of the application will start in the subway after a very short time bus, tram and other vehicles will be valid, he said.
Every day in Tashkent, 1,5 million people benefit from bus, tram and metro services.
