Ceva Selected the Greenest Logistics Company: CEVA received the "Best Green Logistics Company" award at the 2014 Asia International Transport and Supply Chain Awards (AUTTZÖ).
CEVA Logistics, which continues to set an example in the sector with its environmentally friendly works, received the Best Green Logistics Company Award at the 28th Asia International Transport and Supply Chain Awards held in Shanghai. The Asia International Transport and Supply Chain Awards are given by taking into account the criteria of service quality, stability, innovation, customer relationship management and reliability. Receiving the award in the category of Best 3PL and Best Green Logistics Company, CEVA Asia Pacific President Peter Dew said, “This award is very valuable as it is given by the industry that recognizes CEVA's efforts to provide greener supply chain solutions to its customers. In our customer surveys, we now see that most of our customers put the sustainability item among the most important agenda items in supply chain management. At CEVA, our commitment to sustainability helps us reduce waste and share our profits with our customers. This approach affects all our business processes, from warehouse operations to transportation, supply chain solution designs to our purchasing policy. ”
CEVA won the Lean and Green Star Awards last year, as it reduced CO2 emissions by 60 percent in the warehouse operation of Wartsila, a global maritime and power plant solutions supplier, in the Netherlands.
