Ankara-Istanbul YHT flights started: Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train (YHT) line started its first voyage with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. TARGET: 7.5 MILLION PASSENGER IN YEAR

With the opening of the YHT, the distance between Ankara and Istanbul was reduced to 3.5 hours in the first place. It is aimed to reduce this period up to 3 hours with further studies. An average of 7.5 million passengers will be transported annually on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT line. There are a total of 9 stops on the line: Polatlı, Eskişehir, Bozüyük, Bilecek, Pamukova, Sapanca, İzmit, Gebze and Pendik. It was recorded that the trains on the Ankara-Istanbul line consist of 9 wagons and the passenger capacity is 409 + 2. Flexible pricing will even be applied. According to TCDD's report, different discounts will be applied depending on social status.

The new clock order of the Eskişehir line, which has been reduced to four times, is as follows: 9.00, 12.55, 16.45 and 21.00.
