Work on Ankara-Istanbul Yht Line

Work on Ankara-Istanbul Yht Line: High speed train (YHT) line, which will reduce the railway transportation between Ankara and Istanbul from 7 to 3 hours, continues its activities at full speed.

Within the scope of Gebze-Köseköy Rehabilitation Project of the YHT line, the 112 worker working in the 120 kilometer section continues the completion of the line.

The works at Izmit Train Station on the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train (YHT) line, which will be officially opened by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on July 25, have reached the final stage.

Izmit Train Station, which was renovated last year within the scope of the project that will connect Ankara and Istanbul with YHT, is counting the days to serve passengers with its renewed form.

A waiting room was modernized and the platforms were renewed at the 2 storey garage, VIP lounge, masjid and regional product sales department for men and women, and a room was allocated for TCDD employees and retirees.

Tickets will be sold at 2 toll booths at Izmit Station, one of the two stops of the high-speed train in Kocaeli.
