Shanghai Alstom Transport Co. The first of the 18 pcs driverless trains produced by the company was delivered in Singapore: on February 2012, Singapore's Land Transport Authority 42 ordered the purchase of trains. The 24 train for the Circle Line was delivered on June 29. The first 18 driverless train to be operated on the North East Line was now delivered.
Trains manufactured by Alstom Transport with Shanghai Alstom Transport Co. joint venture of Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. Alstom's largest contract in Asia-Pacific region are driverless trains from the Metropolis family of Alstom. 2015 is scheduled to enter service in the middle of the year.
