India to expand its railway network with new high-speed train lines

India will expand its rail network with new high-speed train lines: the Government of India is determined to expand its railway network with new high-speed train lines.

As part of its ten-year expansion plan, the government will undertake the Diamond Four-Edged Project, which includes freight corridors and high-speed rail lines, which are a special agricultural rail network for perishable farm products.

The next month's budget will include administrative and financial sanctions for the 543 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor. The government is also planning to build the Sagar Mala Project, which will connect the sea ports to the inner regions by rail and road.
