Pink tram response ended the campaign

The pink tram response ended the campaign: the SAADET Party (SP) Kayseri Province Presidency was terminated due to the response to the signature campaign launched for the addition of a pink wagon for women to existing trams.

The SP Provincial Organization members, who started a petition campaign 'We want a pink tram for women to use' in Cumhuriyet Square, called the public to 'Come on, sign up and support you. Saadet Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Mahmut Arıkan stated that they received requests from some people in this direction and said:

“Our citizens we talked with on this subject conveyed to us that there is such a need. Especially in the morning and evening hours, our sisters, sisters, aunts, pregnant women and the elderly who travel by tram experience difficulties. They wanted us to work on this issue and they requested a pink tram. We took this request as a duty and started a petition to add a pink tram for women to the existing wagons to deliver it to the competent authorities. "

Arıkan announced that they plan to convey the signatures collected in the 5-day signature campaign to the relevant institutions, but they have put an end to some reactions. Arıkan said, “Not thinking of any political gains in Cumhuriyet Square, we started a petition so that women can easily benefit from the tram service. We were faced with reactions like 'Do not be divisive, it is time to unite', 'The flag has come down in the country, look at the work you are dealing with', 'Are you going to bring Sharia?' As of yesterday, we ended our petition, which we announced that it will take a week so that the already tense society does not get further stressed. "
