Taking the first step in the North Ring Road

The first step is taken on the Northern Ring Road: Antalya gets a new ring road. The first step for the 37-kilometer-long Northern Ring Road is taken by the General Directorate of Highways on 13 June.
In Antalya, whose population has exceeded 2 million as a result of intense immigration in recent years, the increase in the number of vehicles in parallel with the population causes disruptions in transportation in the city center from time to time. While Antalya ranks fourth after Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir in terms of vehicle numbers, the number of vehicles increases even more with those coming from outside the city with the influence of the tourism and agriculture sectors.
GENERAL DIRECTORATE BECOMES A TENDER
Gazi Boulevard, which is known to the public as the 'ring road', lost this feature as a result of the construction in the north and became an urban road, and the first step regarding the Northern Ring Road, which is thought to relieve the urban traffic, is taken by the General Directorate of Highways.

900 WILL BE COMPLETED IN DAY
The tender for the 37-kilometer-long Northern Ring Road, which is planned to prevent vehicles coming from outside the city from entering the city and facilitate access to both tourism and agricultural areas on the east-west axis, will be held on Friday, June 13. In this tender, the qualifications of the companies will be determined first, and the offers of the companies will be received approximately 2 months later. According to the tender specifications, the Northern Ring Road, which starts from the Kömürcüler region of Döşemealtı District and extends to Serik Abdurrahmanlar, is aimed to be completed in 900 days from the site delivery.
