Pantograph developed for 3 kV in Poland: Poland developed pantograph according to 3 kV overhead line. This 160EC pantograph was developed by EC Engineering and is now certified to meet TSI requirements.
Certification process was performed by Instytut Koljnictwa, Poland. Certification related tests were performed at Instytut Ltnictwa test facilities in Warsaw.
This 3 kV pantograph was developed for use in Poland and the Czech Republic and has been in use since 2010. It is now planned to be put on the market of other countries.
