Nissibi Bridge opens to pedestrian traffic

Nissibi Euphrates Bridge opened to pedestrian traffic: Ataturk Dam on the lake construction began two years ago, Turkey's third longest suspension bridge carrying capability Nissibi Euphrates Bridge opened to pedestrian traffic.
Work has been completed on the 610-meter-long Nissibi Bridge, which will connect Şanlıurfa's Siverek and Adıyaman's Kahta districts, which is described as the "Bosphorus Bridge" of the Southeastern Anatolia Region.
Adiyaman Governor Mahmut Demirtaş, AA correspondent, said the bridge was opened to pedestrian traffic.
Demirtaş stated that the last block of the Nissibi Bridge will be placed and opened to traffic at the ceremony, which will be attended by the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Lütfi Elvan, during the week.
