Giresun Municipality Launches Legal Process for Overpasses

Giresun Municipality Started Legal Processes for Overpasses: Giresun Mayor Kerim Aksu stated in his statement today that they have started legal proceedings when there is no result of correspondence with Highways for the overpasses in Giresun.
Mayor of Giresun Municipality May 1st Assembly Meeting made a statement to the journalists, the Mayor Kerim Aksu, said they started legal action for overpasses consisting of ugly structures.
Chairman Aksu said, “The biggest responsibility here belongs to the Highways. Because these areas are Highways areas. Giresun Municipality does not have an initiative in this regard. Giresun Municipality only because they did not apply to the letter from the Highways in the form of "zoning us with these footprints" even though we said, 'Let's process these areas, but you also make an application about the project to be made to us. We wrote an article again, if no answer is received, we will initiate a legal process for demolishing the overpasses. Nothing was thought of in the overpasses built. How old, disabled will pass, these are not calculated. There are much more useful and modern overpasses that other cities have built. We are against the lack of constructions of this kind, only the metal pile and the waste of Giresun in this way. We made our correspondence about this. Although we did, this process was initiated before the project was communicated to us. We have initiated our legal process against this transaction ”.
Saying “This is not only the general problem of Giresun but also of the Black Sea region”, Mayor Aksu said, “Today, there are also very ugly overpasses in all regions from Hopa to Samsun. The elderly and disabled people cannot use these overpasses ”.
