Konya Deputy Mustafa Kabakcı said that unless there is an extraordinary situation, Konya-Istanbul High Speed Train services will start on May 29. Referring to the mining accident, Kabakcı said, "Both the state and the private sector should learn the necessary lessons."

Kabakcı announced that Konya-Istanbul High Speed Train services will start on May 29, unless an extraordinary situation occurs. Stating that investments in transportation continue to increase, Kabakcı emphasized that Istanbul will meet with Konya with the trips.
