It is still unclear when the Istanbul-Ankara YHT will start service

It is still unclear when the Istanbul-Ankara YHT will start service: It is still unclear when the High Speed Train (YHT), which will operate between Istanbul and Ankara, will start service. The government promised for October 29, 2013, it did not happen. The terms given later did not keep up. Finally, the Minister of Transport had promised that "YHT will work at the end of May", we are waiting.
GAR RENEWED

Izmit Train Station was also renewed for YHT. For a long time the train did not work, the Izmit Gar Building was painted outside the inside of the garage, the toilets, masjid was renewed. All electrical installations of the building were changed. Approximately 2.8 million TL has been spent for the renovation of Izmit Station Building.
UPPER PASSES MADE

Outside the station building is also being prepared for YHT. The number of platforms is increased from 2 to 3. The pedestrian underpasses, which pass from Salim Dervişoğlu Street to the other side of the platforms, were renewed. In the meantime, a new pedestrian overpass is being built with 7 centimeter 65 meters for the passengers to reach YHT platforms. If the Fast Train starts to work at the end of May, this pedestrian overpass will be unfinished. It is also necessary to ask why they have not been finished until now.
