The contract for the construction of a major repair and structural reinforcement project of the Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridges was signed on 25 November 2013. The contracting and consultancy work of the construction work was tendered and the contract was signed on 25.02.2014. Within the scope of this work;
Bosphorus Bridge:
- 236 hanger ropes (Diagonal hanger ropes will be made vertical)

Highway Construction and Bridge Works:

With these allowances provided in 2013; 8 km of highway and 2 km of highway, 10 km of connection road, and 1,5 km of junction arm construction has been completed. Along with these highways, the construction was carried out on a total of 2013 km of motorways and connection roads, including 30,7 km of motorways, 20,8 km of connection roads, and 51,5 km of crossroads.
Gebze - Orhangazi - İzmir (including İzmit Gulf Crossing and connection roads) Highway was tendered on 09.04.2009 with the build - operate - transfer model. The design works of the Suspension Bridge, various fabrication works and the production of caissons in the wet pool continue. Tunnel excavations are still being carried out in the 4 mirror in the Samanlı Tunnel within the scope of the project. The works of entrance and exit portal structures are continuing in Selcukgazi Tunnel and Tunnel excavation works are still going on in Belkahve Tunnel.

Izmir - Manisa State Highway Sabuncubeli Tunnel Project was tendered on 01.06.2011 according to the build - operate - transfer model. As a result of the tender held, Koçoğlu İnşaat A.Ş. - Makimsan Asfalt Taahhüt İnş.San.Tic.A.Ş. The assignment decision regarding the assignment to the Joint Venture was approved on 15 July 2011. In addition to these payments made in 2014, an additional investment of 450 million TL is needed. Until the end of March 2014, a total of 2.609 km (excluding build - operate - transfer projects tenders) highway and connection roads were tendered and 2.575 km were opened to traffic.
A part of the 2.575 km road, which has been completed, has been transferred to the municipalities and part of it is in the State Roads network, and a total of 1.829 km, including 298 km of highway and 2.127 km of connection roads, is under the responsibility of Highway Maintenance Operation. In 2014, a total of 26,0 km of motorways and connection roads, including 18,9 km of motorways and 44,9 km of connection roads, and construction works will continue at the junction arm of 18,4 km. In addition, superstructure improvement and major repairs will be continued in various highway sections that were previously opened to traffic. Automatic Transition System (OGS), Card Access System (KGS) and Fast Pass System (HGS):
Any vehicle class permitted to enter the highway can subscribe to OGS and HGS.
